Fairland Center affords a uniquely effective primary treatment program to adults seeking recovery from chemical and behavior addictions. Our program is self-paced and the length of stay depends on the individual's progress. The average length of stay is approximately 35 days. Located in the Mississippi Delta and sitting in the heart of cotton country, Fairland overcomes the busy clutter of everyday life. Our peaceful surroundings provide the solitude so agreeable to healing, inner growth and finding meaning in life without addictions. Picnics and softball on nearby farms, walks in the country, and group therapy under the trees are a part of the process of recapturing life's enjoyment without the chaos of addictions.
Our philosophy addresses the whole individual--mind, body and spirit. Treatment focuses on three main areas: the biochemical roots of addiction, breaking destructive thinking pattern, and cultivating spirituality.
Treatment costs are extremely affordable and individualized based on income. Call for further information.
Compulsive gambling, overeating, uncontrolled sexual behavior, and other addictive behaviors have the ability to destroy lives and families as surely as do alcohol and drugs. At Fairland, we address the strong connection between behavioral and chemical addictions and offer treatment to individuals who are prisoners of either. The path to freedom and serenity is the same for both.
In addition to serving all adults seeking treatment for their addictions, Fairland is one of few residential centers in the Southeast offering treatment to expectant mothers and parents (both men and women) who wish to bring their young children to treatment with them. Parents room with their children and newborns. A full-time Registered Nurse and early identification and remediation of drug induced developmental disabilities are a few of the services offered for children. At Fairland, mothers find a home-like atmosphere in the country and ample time for binding between mother and child.
